James Guthrie
James came to web development by the roundabout method of degrees in English, History, and, finally, Information and Library Science, the latter of which had an introductory HTML paper he greatly enjoyed, and never looked back from. This combination makes him the rarest of commodities, a developer with decent writing skills. Naturally, Breathe snapped him up at the start of 2007, after previous stints as a developer at Morse Media, and as the official ‘Information Enthusiast’ at MetService.
At play
James looks after his own Noizyland website, the Wellingtonista community blog-site, was the author of the NetGuide award-winning blog Bizgirl, played in NZ indie rock bands Cinematic and Debris, contributes to and edits the Dropkicks rugby/sports podcast, plays indoor soccer, and runs around a lot.
