Rather than building a separate site from the main www.wellingtonnz.com site, we built a Drupal mobile module m.wellingtonnz.com. Now two sites are driven off the one content management system. This means that Wellingtonnz staff have only to change information on the one system and tick the appropriate check boxes and the data is pushed to both sites in the correct format. This single content management system saves them time and money.
Another feature that we provide is immediate site reporting. The WellingtonNZ staff can find out numbers of visitors, when visitors are coming to the site, what phone handsets have been used to visit the site and a lot of other information for marketers.
